Last week, several scholars from our chair joined 1,200 attendees for the #BreakingBias Conference "Women in the digital future: Breaking through stereotypes" sponsored by TUM Professor Isabell Welpe, Chair of Strategy & Organization, and now KLU Professor, Prisca Brosi.
A stellar, international line-up of scholar, politician, and practitioner speakers presented various views on the current state, explanations, challenges, and solutions to the lack of women in STEM/MINT, leadership, academia, on the television, etc. Two scholars from our chair, Stephanie Rehbock and Jamie Gloor, also presented original research posters at the event on gender stereotypes in STEM/MINT and Twitter's under-tapped potential as an organizational digital diversity strategy.
