- The module ‚Advanced Seminar: Advanced Research Methods in Leadership and Organizational Behavior‘ is a prerequisite for writing a master thesis at the Chair of Research and Science Management
The module "Advanced Seminar & Tutorial: Advanced Research Methods in Leadership and Organizational Behavior" is a prerequisite (but not guarantee) for writing a master thesis at the Chair of Research and Science Management. Please attend the "Advanced Seminar" before applying for a thesis at our chair. Further details regarding master thesis topics, supervisors and the application process will be discussed during the seminar. The Advanced Research Method seminar will enable you to conduct sophisticated empirical research.

Planning Your Research: Introduction to Research Methods and Skills
This course was designed for students who are currently writing their bachelor or master thesis at our chair. You and your supervisor have agreed on a research question and you are now in the stage of designing your research and choosing the appropriate methods? You are currently reviewing the state of the art of your research field and want to improve your critical reading skills? You want to know more about strengths and weaknesses of different research methodologies? If so, this course is for you: You will learn about basic research skills, such as literature research, finding a good research question, and choosing the appropriate research methods. In our final poster session, you will get the opportunity to present the current status of your research to your fellow class mates and to receive feedback from members of our chair.
Presenting Your Research: Introduction to Academic Writing
This course was designed for students who are currently writing their bachelor or master thesis at our chair. You want to know more about the formal layout and APA guidelines? You wonder how to best structure your thesis? You are currently writing the first draft of your thesis and have important questions on how to best present your research? If so, this course is for you: You will develop your academic writing skills, such as structuring your thesis, working with sources, setting the hook in the introduction, discussing your findings, and using APA standards. In our final poster session, you will get the opportunity to present the current status of your research to your fellow class mates and to receive feedback from members of our chair.
