The 3rd Neuroergonomics Conference is being hosted digitally by the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich from September 11 to September 16, 2021. Co-chaired by Franziska Emmerling (Neurophysiological Leadership Lab) and hosted in a virtual venue via Gather, around 400 participants will experience various exciting scientific and social events – all in the digital space!
The field of Neuroergonomics applies neuroscientific methods to investigate how the brain works in everyday life. Over the course of the week, researchers from domains like Aviation & Transportation, Cognition, Healthcare, and Social Neuroergonomics will share their insights on state-of-the-art methods and theory in talks, fireside chats, panel discussions, and poster sessions, while innovative startups will be featured in the Startup Showcase and the Grand Challenge. Each day will also include inspiring keynotes by the renowned Mel Slater, Daphne Bavelier, Shamsi Iqbal, and Matthew Rizzo. Finally, the conference is rounded out by fun digital events like a Treasure Egg Hunt, Academic Matchmaking, and the Neuroergonomic Bingo.
