The 5-day Academy of Management (AOM) Conference just concluded in Chicago, USA. With more than 11,000 experts from around the world, 6 of our team members actively engaged in scholarly conversations about ways that leaders and organizations can improve employee well-being as well as our society as a whole.
Prof. Claudia Peus, Regina Dutz, Drs. Jamie Gloor and Sylvia Hubner, Stephanie Rehbock, and Biljana Rudic represented the Chair of Research and Science Management by presenting new research on recruitment and hiring, workplace social relations (e.g., incivility), and leadership (e.g., leader gender and fit, professorial identity, and entrepreneurial leadership; see photo). These members, along with several Peus team alumni (e.g., Tanja Hentschel and Brooke Gazdag) and more than 100 other international scholars and practitioners, also attended the successful TUM "Bavarian Breakfast" reception on Sunday morning to enjoy Weißwürste and Bretzeln while raising awareness of TUM scholarship, our new campus and open positions at Heilbronn.
All in all, the presentations, workshops, receptions, and networking were a huge success!
