Final Thesis Symposium 2023

The chair's thesis students present their research

The Final Thesis Symposium of the Chair of Research and Science Management took place this summer semester on July 17. Here, final thesis students came together to present the status of their research projects as part of the traditional poster session. After the students first presented short impulses on their posters, they then had the opportunity to convince the audience of the exciting implications of their theses. In addition, they were able to gather valuable suggestions for further steps.

This semester's Best Poster Award was given to master's student Kristina Holzapfl. The goal of her thesis is to research whether gender, as well as clothing, individually or together, have an impact on evaluating leadership effectiveness using eye-tracking as her research method. This research is relevant since differences between men and women in the workplace are still significant, especially in leadership positions. Working together with her supervisors Hannah Kunde and Mira Kaut, she aims to contribute to the existing research in the field of leadership and clothing styles in the workplace.

The chair team congratulates Kristina for the Best Poster Award 2023 and thanks all participants!
