After four intense days of inspiring lectures on leadership research and practice, the topic on Monday turned personal: “Becoming your own ideal leader”. SVP Prof. Dr. Claudia Peus, Vice Dean of Executive Education, started with an insightful interactive session on leadership in the digital age and discussed practical tools for leaders. Subsequently, the EMBA students had the chance to work on their individual development as leaders in small groups with the leadership development experts Dr. Kristin Knipfer, Thomas Münch, Dr. Ellen Schmid, and Dr. Emanuel Schreiner.
The students reflected on the feedback they received in their personal leadership profiles, worked with the digital coach Emma, experimented with leadership behaviors in role play sessions, reflected on their own challenges as leaders, and received feedback on their leadership philosophy using a cutting-edge virtual reality application. The virtual reality sessions brought by str8labs, the newest partner of the TUM Center for Digital Leadership Development, were the highlight of the day for many students!
