We are looking back at an exciting week at the virtual 3rd Neuroergonomics Conference 2021.
The field of Neuroergonomics applies neuroscientific methods to investigate how the brain works in everyday life – for example in the areas of aviation & transportation, cognition, healthcare, leadership, and social neuroergonomics.
Inspiring keynotes, insightful workshops, interesting and diverse talks, and encouraging exchange with other researchers are the best rewards for all people involved in the organization of the NEC2021. The Neurophysiological Leadership Lab team is very proud to have been part of the organization committee.
Franziska Emmerling co-chaired the conference and was responsible for the conference’s planning, coordination, and execution from beginning to end. As Local Chairs, Jakub Cichor and Hannah Kunde made sure that everything in the virtual Gather Town venue worked seamlessly. Furthermore, Jakub Cichor was involved in the communication and coordination with sponsors before and during the conference, while Hannah Kunde, as Student Volunteer Chair, coordinated the student volunteers, organized an amazing treasure hunt through the virtual venue, and helped participants whenever support was necessary. Leidy Cubillos-Pinilla was involved in the preparations of the NEC2021 – she supported in the coordination of the Neuroergonomics network by searching for inspiring researchers to be invited to the conference.
We are very much looking forward to the next Neuroergonomics Conference in 2022 in New York!
