The Final Thesis Symposium of the Chair of Research and Science Management took place this summer semester on 15 July. Here, final thesis students came together to present the status of their research projects as part of the traditional poster session. After the students presented short impulses on their posters, they had the opportunity to convince the audience of the exciting implications of their theses. In addition, they were able to gather valuable suggestions for further steps.
This semester's Best Poster Award was given to master's student Kai-Ling Karin Szu. The goal of her thesis is to investigate how human followers attribute trustworthiness to a robot leader along the human-likeness spectrum through an online experimental vignette study. This research is worthwhile, as robots are expected to become more integrated into workplaces with contemporary developments in AI and robotics. Working with her supervisor, Dr. Jakub Cichor, she aims to contribute to the emerging field of robot leadership by applying theories from social psychology and human-based leadership.
The chair team congratulates Kai-Ling Karin for the Best Poster Award 2024 and thanks all participants!
