Nicolás Andreas Tamm Garetto joined the Chair of Research and Science Management in April 2025. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of Konstanz. Subsequently, he moved to Munich, where he earned a Master's degree in the same field at the Technical University of Munich. Following two years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, during which he worked on state-of-the-art applications in Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence, Nicolás joined the Chair to further pursue his research interests in these domains. Nicolás has maintained a lifelong interest in virtual reality and its potential to enhance our understanding of the human mind. He was an early adopter of integrating Transformer models into virtual environments to investigate human responses to conversational agents.
