Welcome to the research project: "Personal Development at Work"

The research project is funded by the German Research Foundation and investigates the personal development of individuals throughout their professional lives.

The main goal is to better understand how specific experiences at work (e.g., with regard to the organizational climate or leadership) are related to personal development over time.

To investigate this issue, we are looking for employees, teams or organizations who would like to participate in our study. In particular, we would like to learn from people who have recently started a new job and joined a new organization (< 6 months) or plan to do so in the near future.  Also teams that have recently (< 6 months) welcomed new members from outside the organization are particularly suitable. There are no restrictions in terms of occupations, industry or company size.

Your participation will greatly help research  to learn more about  how people interact, communicate, and collaborate at work and how this is related to personal development. Also, you will personally benefit from regular reflection and tailored feedback about your own experiences and development.

If you would like to learn more about this project and ways to participate (as an individual, team, or organization), please see the Participation and Your Benefits section for more information.

This research project is coordinated by Dr. Armin Pircher Verdorfer (University of Amsterdam)  and  Prof. Dr. Claudia Peus (TUM), in collaboration with Dr. Martin Fladerer and Clarissa Zwarg (both TUM).
