Maximilian Cohnen, MSc
Maximilian is a doctoral candidate at our Chair. His research focuses on competition for and with technology.
Prior to his doctoral studies, Maximilian worked in various positions at BCG Platinion, Deloitte, and PwC. He holds a Master of Science in Management and Digital Technologies from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University.

Lilli Schabel, MSc
Lilli is a doctoral candidate at our Chair. Her research focuses on strategic flexibility and AI.
Prior to her doctoral studies, Lilli worked in various positions at Mercedes-Benz, dm – drogerie markt, and Lidl as an intern or working student.
She holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), as well as a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from KIT.

Lynn Waffenschmidt, MLB
Lynn Waffenschmidt is a doctoral candidate at our Chair and a recipient of the Doctoral Scholarship for Women with Professional Experience awarded by LaKoF Bayern (Bavarian State Conference of Women’s Representatives in Higher Education). Her research focuses on the intersection of strategic and international management with digitalization, specifically on distance within multinational enterprises in a digital world.
Prior to her doctoral studies, Lynn worked in various leadership positions on three continents at the Boston Consulting Group, BMW, and Microsoft. She holds a Master’s degree in Law and Business from Bucerius Law School, Hamburg (Germany) and WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, Vallendar (Germany), as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Economics from Bayreuth University (Germany) with stays abroad at University of Oxford (United Kingdom) and Nanjing University (China).
