Strategy&technology research (Firm strategy/strategizing, technology, and success) investigates how firms can make use of new technologies, i.e. AI and digital technologies, for firm strategy, how firms are impacted by new technologies, and how firms can transform themselves in order to address the opportunities of and challenges by new technologies. This research stream is conceptual and empirical in nature, it is theory-developmental and practice-oriented, and develops new and better practices towards strategy/strategizing innovations.

Strategy&global contexts research ((De)Growth, (de)globalization, and success) investigates how firm strategies shape and are effected by (de)globalization. This research is extending the theory of the MNE, small and large scale empirical, and supports companies on its transformations in the global landscape. We are able to exploit data bases such as our Scope Change data base to investigate growth patterns of firms from advanced and emerging economies.

Theory of the firm research
Theory of the firm research is conceptual, foundational, and ground-breaking. Here, we further develop our theory of the firm and make time and uncertainty key constructs in describing and explaining entrepreneurship, corporate development and transformation.
