Process for receiving a Letter of Recommendation

Students who need a Letter of Recommendation have to send their request exclusively via email to maria.vuillemin@tum.de. Prerequisite for obtaining a Letter of Recommendation is that:

• Students have passed at least one module/course (lecture and/or seminar) of the chair with a grade of at least 2,0 or better
• The overall grade resp. average at the time of requesting a Letter of Recommendation is 2.0 or better

Please send the following documents when asking for a Letter of Recommendation:

• Purpose for which the Letter of Recommendation will be needed
• Updated CV
• Transcript of Records
• Any forms to be completed, if applicable

Please be aware that preparing a Letter of Recommendation will take at least four weeks. Please take this into account when asking for it.
