Rebecca West ist Postdoc am Lehrstuhl für Behavioral Research Methods der TUM School of Management.
Rebecca befasst sich mit den kognitiven Prozessen der Entscheidungsfindung. Von zentraler Bedeutung sind dabei metakognitive Prozesse, die wir dazu nutzen, unter Unsicherheit unsere Entscheidungen zu kontrollieren, bewerten und anzupassen. Zur Untersuchung der Dynamik dieser Prozesse kombiniert Rebecca komputationale Modellierung experimentelle Methoden der Verhaltensforschung.
Rebecca absolvierte ihren PhD an der University of Queensland (Brisbane, Australia). Im Anschluss arbeitete sie als Postdoc am Lehrstuhl für Computational Modeling in Psychology an der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
