Credits that have been earned outside of TUM, both abroad and in Germany, can be recognized within the framework of §6 ADPO and §16 APSO.

Prerequisites

The prerequisite for the recognition of achievements is that there are no significant differences in the acquired competences (learning outcomes) with respect to the skills or knowledge acquired through a course at another academic institute, i.e., that the achievements are equivalent in terms of content and level. 

 

For TUM MGT Students

If you are an enrolled student at TUM School of Management and would like to request credit recognition for a course offered at our chair, please use the digital platform PIM. The platform for inter*national credit recognition (PIM) offers a digitalized process for all types of credit recognition. This means that you can use this platform for all types of recognition (e.g., for the recognition of credits from previous academic achievements or after a stay abroad).

Log in to PIM with your TUM credentials: https://app.pim-plattform.de. You can start a recognition application on your dashboard.

If you study at a different TUM School, please fill out the “proof of equivalence” you can also find in the Download Center of the MGT website: https://www.mgt.tum.de/download-center/study-programs/current-student and send it to the lecturer of the course you want to have recognized.
