Academy of Management Conference 2023

"Putting the Worker Front and Center"

The Academy of Management (AOM) 2023 Conference, hosted in Boston, Massachusetts, from August 4th to 8th, centered on "Putting the Worker Front and Center." Notable for being the world’s leading event for scholarly engagement in management and organization, the conference attracted over 10,000 attendees globally. It featured more than 1,500 sessions aimed at fostering research, networking, and knowledge dissemination among academics, students, and practitioners. The conference's rich program and online platforms facilitated discussions on pressing challenges in the 21st century's management and organizational fields.

Dr. Regina Hagl and Jakub Cichor represented the Chair of Research and science Management at this year's conference. Regina presented her paper "Escalation of Destructive Leader Perceptions and Attributed Motives by Leader Gender" in a virtual paper session, whereas Jakub represented the TUM NeLeLab to foster collaboration with the AOM's Organizational Neuroscience interest group.
