Project Studies
We regularly offer new topics for project studies, that we develop together with our practice partners. It is important to us that these topics offer problems, which have a high practical relevance.
Requirements
These project studies are open to all students with the study focus TUM-BWL Diploma, TUM-BWL Bachelor and Master, and MBA. The general requirements of the course comply with your respective study regulations. Furthermore, the student project teams should consist of at least 2 team members. In most cases good knowledge in empirical research methods is necessary.
Application
If you are interested in one of the subjects listed below, you can apply for the project study at the respective companies. Once the company has accepted you, please submit also your complete application via e-mail to the corresponding contact person of our chair. Your application should contain the following documents:
- motivation letter describing your interest on the topic
- curriculum vitae in tabular form of all team members
- pre-diploma respectively transcript of records of all team members
- application form (link)

Registration of the project study
After our chair has accepted your project study and after mutual agreement on an outline, your project study can be registered at the examination office (Prüfungsamt). The process is listed here.
Handing-in a project study
Please hand in the following documents directly at the chair:
- one copy of the project study report
- electronic version of your work (Word or pdf)
- electronic version of your presentation
