Andreas Gabriel was a research associate at the Chair of Economics in Horticulture and Landscaping working on diverse Research projects on several research projects with main focus on empirical market and social research in the areas of Horticulture, Foodstuff, and Agriculture.

Before joining the Chair, he studied Horticulture at the University of Applied Sciences of Weihenstephan at Freising and was working from 2004 to 2015 as research associate at the Chair of Marketing and Management of Biogenic Resources (MNR), Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences (HSWT), (Straubing Center of Science).

Since 2022, Andreas Gabriel has been working at the Bavarian State Research Center for Agriculture at the Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Animal Husbandry, supporting the Digital Farming working group, where he is dedicated to the acceptance and adoption of digital technologies in agricultural enterprises. However, he has retained his links with the Chair of Economics in Horticulture and Landscaping.
