We are happy to share that our article “Ein Plädoyer für die Komfortzone” [engl. Call for the Comfort Zone] was published in Organisationsberatung, Supervision, Coaching. 

Abstract: Only an abandoned comfort zone is a good comfort zone. At least this is the current predominant social attribution of a space that is rarely defined. This paper critically examines the origins of this model in experiential education and organizational psychology, and shows how it shapes the thinking about it to this day. Following on from this, the authors advocate for the revaluation of a healthy comfort zone and present some initial ideas about the extent to which a comfort zone can be understood as a valuable resource for experiencing competence in times of daily challenges.
