After two years as a research assistant, Clara Wagner is currently an external doctoral candidate at the Chair of Economics of Horticulture and Landscaping at the Technical University of Munich since September 2022. Her research focuses on family farms in the process of farm succession.

Clara Wagner received her bachelor's degree at the University of Applied Sciences Weihenstephan-Triesdorf in the field of agriculture. In 2020, she completed her master's degree in the international program Horticultural Science at the Technical University of Munich with a master's thesis on the role of mindsets in succession processes in agricultural and horticultural family farms. In addition to her education and research activities, she has practical experience agriculture, food processing and marketing.
