Leidy Cubillos-Pinilla joined the team in 2018. She works as a research associate and PhD student at the TUM Neurophysiological Leadership Lab (TUM NeLeLab, Dr. Franziska Emmerling). Her current research interests involve the electrophysiological basis and brain circuits underpinning behavioral, cognitive and emotional processes of different leadership styles. Other interests involve impulse control, cognitive flexibility, rule social violations, social neuroscience and big data statistics.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a Minor in Biology from the University of Los Andes, Colombia. After completing her studies, she joined Mercados Zapatoca S.A, a leading chain of supermarkets in Colombia, and worked as the Head of Recruitment and Development HR. She completed her master’s degree of Neuro-Cognitive Psychology at Ludwig-Maximilians Universität, München.
