Leadership in the Digital Age: Leadership and health/well-being in agile team work

We are elated to announce that the Chair of Research and Science Management was awarded with a European Network Fund in collaboration with the University of Exeter. The awarded project is called “Leadership in the Digital Age: Leadership and health/well-being in agile team work”. All thanks to the outstanding research team, which includes Prof. Ilke Inceoglu (University of Exeter) as the Principal Investigator, Prof. Ronit Kark (Bar-Ilan University and University of Exeter) and our postdoctoral fellow Dr. Eleni Georganta.

The overall aim of this research is to investigate two questions that cover digital transformation processes and agile teamwork in organizations. The first question being: How do large established organizations (LEOs) transition from being a traditional manufacturer to becoming a digitized manufacturer? Second, based on the growing number of teams adopting agile work practices, how does informal leadership in agile teams work and how do fluid leadership processes impact team and individual well-being?

We are very delighted and proud to actively represent TUM in such an inspiring research topic!
