Thesis (Bachelor & Master)
***Theses Set-up Under Development***
Dear Students,
Thank you for your interest in writing your Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis at the Professorship of Marketing & Technology.
As our research group has only recently started its operations, we are currently developing a structured, modern, and science-focused thesis process for students.
First guidelines will be published by the end of March 2026.
In the meantime, please note of the following general principles:
- All thesis projects are research-driven and follow current scientific standards.
- Both the Bachelor’s thesis (3 months) and the Master’s thesis (6 months) are designed as quantitative and empirical research projects. Literature review are possible for Bachelor thesis in exceptional cases.
- All these must be written in academic English and should follow the formatting and style guidelines of the American Marketing Association (AMA):
- Your central responsibility is to manage your thesis projects which include all administrations.
Master’s Thesis Requirements
To be eligible to write a Master’s thesis at the Professorship of Marketing & Technology, students must have successfully completed:
- Advanced Seminar in “Technology Marketing” (MGT001489S)
- Seminar “Introduction to Survey Methods & Data Evaluation” (MGT001496S)
Both seminars will be offered every semester, starting in Summer 2026. Please plan your studies accordingly.
